Project items

In Arcweave, a project holds the structure and content of your interactive story, allowing you to design, test, share, and export it.

This section covers all the Arcweave items you can use to build your story. You will learn everything there is to know about the following:

  • Boards are the canvases where you design your story flowcharts.
  • Use elements and connections to map out story events and write scenes or dialogue trees. To connect distant elements, create jumpers—links to or aliases of elements. These items define how your story flows.
  • Represent story objects with components, storing data in the form of attributes.
  • Add logic using variables, arcscript, and branches.
  • Add image and sound assets to enrich your story with visuals and audio.
  • Use notes and comments to communicate with collaborators—or your future self.
