Description: Overview of the Arcweave project interface, including the top menu, bottom menu, left sidebar, and layout on small screens

This section is a reference guide to Arcweave's project interface. It catalogs all UI areas and menus of the project environment, explaining what each one does and how it supports your workflow. You can look up what you're searching for by browsing the following interface areas:

## Bottom menu

The [bottom menu](https://docs.arcweave.com/project-tools/interface/bottom-menu) allows you to create project items and switch between Pan and Select mode (on the left), and to adjust your board view with zooming and access help resources (on the right).

## Left sidebar

Context: Arcweave docs > Project Tools > Project interface > Left sidebar

The [sidebar on the left side](https://docs.arcweave.com/project-tools/interface/left-sidebar) of your window provides access to important items of your project: components, assets, boards, and variables.

## Responsive interface

Context: Arcweave docs > Project Tools > Project interface > Responsive interface

On narrow screens, Arcweave rearranges these areas to leave more room for the board:

- The top menu splits into two dropdown menus, positioned on the left and right. The **Workspace** button and **Play Mode** stay visible on the left, and your profile stays visible on the far right.
- The left sidebar starts collapsed and can be opened with the chevron tab at the left edge.
- The item-creation tools open from a **+** button at the bottom left.
- The help and board-view tools expand vertically from the chevron button at the bottom right.

The same permission and plan restrictions apply in both the desktop and responsive layouts. Some desktop controls, such as the Pan/Select icon, History, and the item count, are not shown in the responsive layout.
