Project bottom menu ​

The bottom menu allows you to create project items and switch between Pan and Select mode (on the left), and to adjust your board view with zooming and access help resources (on the right).

The item icons require the Edit projects permission, except the comment icon, which requires permission to comment on the project.

Element icon ​

Drag into empty board space to create a new element.

Jumper icon ​

Drag into empty board space to create a new jumper.

Branch icon ​

Drag into empty board space to create a new branch.

Note icon ​

Drag into empty board space to create a new note.

Comment icon ​

Drag into empty board space to create a new comment.

Pan/Select icon ​

Click the hand icon to toggle between the following modes. This control is available to users with the Edit projects permission:

  • Pan mode: Click and drag to move around the board.
  • Select mode: Click to select items, or click and drag from empty board space to draw a selection rectangle.

Zoom option icons ​

  • Fit to screen: Adjusts the zoom so that the selected items, or the whole board if nothing is selected, fit the window.
  • Enter full screen: Expands the board to fill your entire screen for less distractions.
  • Zoom in: Increases magnification for closer inspection of board details.
  • Zoom out: Decreases magnification for a broader overview.
  • Current zoom: Displays the current zoom percentage. Click to reset zoom to 100%.

Info button ​

Click the Info button (the icon with a question mark) to open a helpful menu with quick access to support and learning resources:

  • What's new: Opens Arcweave's latest product updates.
  • Shortcuts / Help: Opens a dialog that lists keyboard shortcuts. See Keyboard shortcuts for the complete list.
  • Documentation: Takes you to Arcweave's official documentation site for in-depth guides and references.
  • Video tutorials: Opens the Arcweave YouTube playlist featuring step-by-step video tutorials.
  • Ask us on Discord: Join the Arcweave Discord server to ask questions, get support, or connect with the community.

Bottom tools on small screens ​

On narrow screens, the two groups are collapsed and the Pan/Select icon is not shown:

  • Tap the + button at the bottom left to open the item-creation tray. Drag an item icon from the tray onto the board. Tap the tray handle or swipe it down to close it.
  • Tap the chevron button at the bottom right to show or hide Help, Fit to screen, Full screen, Zoom in, Zoom out, and the current zoom percentage.
